RIAA: the dinosaur that doesn't R.I.P.
This is actually one of the most sensible posts I've seen on the RIAA and downloading. Personally, I believe that the impetus behind the RIAA's opposition to downloading isn't protection of the artists, but protection of the management of the record labels.

I think you are right - loss of control of the management of the titles is tantamount to making them go look for real work...
